Mike serves as President and Partner of Midtown Construction Company. Prior to Midtown Construction Mike was Vice President of Construction for Greystar Development and Construction and was responsible for all aspects of business development, management of construction operations, and client relationships. Mike’s involvement in a construction project typically starts during the predevelopment phase, providing feedback during design. Mike has over 17 years of construction experience with expertise in predevelopment and preconstruction services including design feedback and estimating. He places a strong emphasis on accurate pricing from schematic design through construction documentation. Mike’s focus on construction operations centers on complete scoping of qualified subcontractors, accurate scheduling, and thorough project administration. His experience includes a variety of multi family housing, retail, and office projects. He has built wood framed, structural steel, and all types of concrete structures.
Mike began his career in the industry as a construction manager for Mobil Oil Corporation where he managed many types of ground up and remodel projects. He continued his career with the Tyree Organization for eight years where he held several positions including Project Engineer, Project Manager, Project Development Manager and Area Manager in Denver. At Tyree he was responsible for developing the new branch office which included staffing, production, estimating, and business development. The office performed many different types of ground-up retail projects. Mike received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute in 1992 and has been in the Denver Market for nine years.
